What you get

Custom web apps
Software shaped around how your business already runs, instead of a template you work around. Customer portals, internal tools, booking and order systems. React, Node.js, MongoDB
Cloud and serverless backends on AWS
A backend that costs little when it's quiet and keeps up when it's busy. The setup is written as code, so it can be rebuilt, reviewed, and handed to someone else. Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Terraform
Integrations and automation
The tools you already use, connected so nobody re-types the same information. A form submission can create the record and send the confirmation on its own.
Dashboards and reporting
The numbers you check every week, in one place, drawn from the systems you already have.

Selected work

TaskFlow

Problem
Work gets lost when it lives in notes and spreadsheets. People need one place to see what's waiting, in progress, done, and overdue.
Build
A full stack task app: a drag-and-drop board, due dates that read "Due tomorrow" or "Overdue by 2 days," priorities, search and filters, and light and dark themes. Users sign in with JWT authentication. The layout collapses cleanly on phones. It was my senior project at Palm Beach Atlantic University.
Stack
React, Node.js, Express, MongoDB, JWT

ApplicationFlow

Problem
A set of records that needs to be created, listed, updated and deleted from anywhere, without running a server around the clock.
Build
A serverless REST API on AWS. Five Lambda functions sit behind API Gateway and store data in DynamoDB. All of the infrastructure is written in Terraform. Each part only gets the permissions it needs, so one mistake can't expose everything. GitHub Actions deploys every change.
Stack
AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Terraform, IAM, TypeScript, GitHub Actions

AWS Job Status API

Problem
Slow work, such as generating a report or processing a file, shouldn't make a customer stare at a spinner or lose the request when something fails.
Build
A client submits a job and gets an ID back immediately. A queue holds the work, and a worker function processes it and records progress. Failed jobs are retried three times, then set aside for review, and I get an alert. The client checks the job's status by ID at any time. Unit tests run in CI on every push.
Stack
SQS, dead letter queue, Lambda worker, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Terraform, TypeScript

Also built: a 3D Rubik's Cube simulator in C++ and OpenGL, with 20+ move sequences, undo and redo, and 60+ FPS rendering. Source code

How it works

  1. A free consult

You tell me what's slowing the business down. I ask questions. There's no pitch.

  2. A scoped proposal

I write down what will be built, what it will cost, and what is not included, so there are no surprises later.

  3. Build in stages

You see working pieces as they're finished, so you can change direction early instead of at the end.

  4. Handoff

You get the code, the documentation, and a walkthrough of how it all runs.

About

I'm Jackson Elliott. I graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University with a degree in computer science and was named Outstanding Graduate in May 2026. I'm based in Florida.

I started Elliott Solutions to build software for local businesses. The projects above are mine, and the code is public so you can read it before you hire me. When you send an inquiry, it comes to me, and I'm the one who answers it.
